# Method:

01 - In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
02 - Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
03 - Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
04 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until incorporated.
05 - Divide dough into two portions, shape each into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
